What You'll Do
A Cocktail Server provides a unique dining experience for our guests by delivering outstanding customer service and a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their drink orders. A Cocktail Server also ensures the timely delivery of beverages to our guests and is expected to pass periodical testing for food and beverage knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Have an extensive knowledge of The Penthouse’s menu, beverages, and cocktail menu.

Possess a strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food and beverage handling procedures.

Inform guests of menu changes and answer questions regarding food and beverages.

Ensure all orders are filled accurately and deliver beverages from the bar to guests in a timely manner.

Provide attentive service to diners, check their needs throughout their dining experience and promptly address any customer service issues.

Prepare final bill, present the check to guest, accept payment, process credit card, and make changes (if needed),

Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift.

Assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant.

Create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them and thanking them.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
