Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with various roofing projects, including installation, repair, and restoration of different roofing systems. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in roofing, siding, and exterior building work while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems such as metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile roofing.
- Support team members in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses safely and effectively during outdoor work activities.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for roofing, siding installation, masonry work, stucco application, caulking, and concrete forming.
- Follow all construction safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure work environment.
- Aid in the removal of old roofing materials during restoration projects and assist with remodeling tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Experience
- Previous construction experience with a focus on roofing or exterior building trades is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with metal stud framing, masonry, tile laying, or siding installation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses is essential.
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions will help ensure adaptability on the job site.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders safely, and perform heavy lifting tasks reliably.
- Demonstrated capability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed construction plans confidently.
