Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Independent Representative to join our team. This role involves building strong customer relationships, managing product pricing, and providing excellent service across retail and client locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for route driving, merchandising, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations while representing our brand with integrity and professionalism. Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service
- Manage product pricing strategies to optimize sales and profitability
- Conduct route driving to various retail stores and client locations, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Perform merchandising tasks such as product placement, displays, and inventory management
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities during client interactions
- Ensure safe driving practices in compliance with DOT regulations and traffic laws, including commercial truck driving when applicable
- Handle automobile transportation of products efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices to move merchandise or supplies
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and client communications
- Follow organizational procedures for route planning, scheduling, and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail store environments, sales, or customer relationship building is preferred
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies and upselling techniques
- Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving or route driving; knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and maintain detailed records
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Experience in automobile transportation or commercial truck driving is advantageous
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation at retail locations
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude and problem-solving skills
