Maintenance Technician
Pay Range starting at $30/hr. (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 3pm - 12am
Shift: 2nd

Brief Overview of Position:
- Perform maintenance on plant machinery.
- Respond to maintenance calls and repair machinery.
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
- Practices and compiles with all company policies and procedures, including safety and confined spaces.
- Ensures safe and proper use of tools and equipment, ensures hand tools are free of defects: maintains neat and orderly work areas, including proper storage/disposal of lubricants, solvents, paint, and other chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA and SQF.
- Responsibilities for specific systems may include but not limited to: HVAC, boilers, air handling units, PLC and industrial PC control devices (Allen Bradley specific), servo motors, conveyance systems, pneumatic, mechanical drives and natural gas fueled ovens.
An ideal candidate possess:
- Machine Maintenance experience is required.
- Ability to follow directions, all safety procedures, and complete tasks designated by supervisor.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
- Basic understanding of computer technology and programs.
- Ability to work fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of 3-phased electricity.
- Welding knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and communicate with a team.
- Has the ability to work independently and as a team member.
