The Grounds Guys of Northwest San Antonio is looking for dependable Landscape Crew Members with previous landscaping experience to join our growing team.
Pay starts at $16.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience. We offer weekly pay, year-round work, overtime opportunities, professional equipment, and the opportunity to grow into a Crew Leader position.
If you're looking for more than just mowing, you'll enjoy working on a variety of landscape maintenance and installation projects, including sod, decorative rock, mulch, steel edging, irrigation, trees, shrubs, and complete landscape renovations for residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities
As a Landscape Crew Member, you will work as part of a team performing both landscape maintenance and installation services.
Landscape Maintenance

Mow, edge, trim, and blow commercial and residential properties
-
Prune shrubs, hedges, and ornamental trees
-
Perform weed control and landscape bed maintenance
-
Install mulch and seasonal flowers
-
Remove debris and maintain clean, professional job sites

Safely operate commercial landscaping equipment
Landscape Installation

Install trees, shrubs, flowers, ornamental grasses, and sod
-
Install mulch, decorative rock, steel edging, and other landscape materials
-
Assist with irrigation installation and repairs
-
Build and renovate landscape beds
-
Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials
What We're Looking For

Minimum of one year of professional landscaping experience preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work well as part of a team

Takes pride in producing high-quality work

Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment such as zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws is preferred

Ability to legally operate company vehicles
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, and walking

Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment
