Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets, furniture, and wood fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks including door hanging, fixture installation, and finishing details to achieve a polished look.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to verify measurements, quality standards, and proper installation techniques.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and handling heavy lifting with proper equipment.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in related woodworking roles within the construction or restoration industry.
- Strong background in construction site experience including framing, drywall finishing, and roofing is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, as well as power tools like CNC machines for fabrication purposes.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, metal stud framing, rebar installation, and concrete forming enhances your versatility.
- Familiarity with restoration projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and flooring is advantageous.
- Experience with various construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, tile laying, and remodeling broadens your skill set.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely while maintaining attention to detail ensures high-quality craftsmanship.
