Position Overview
LocalPeople LLC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator for a long-term contract engagement supporting a critical Workforce solution built on the Salesforce platform.
This position will focus on the daily administration, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support of the Salesforce environment. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with technical team members and business stakeholders to maintain system stability, resolve production issues, implement configuration changes, and support ongoing workforce operations.
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce professional who is comfortable taking ownership of assigned issues, investigating problems, working directly with business stakeholders, and independently driving work through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
The Salesforce Administrator will provide ongoing administration and production support for the Salesforce Workforce solution, including:
- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Salesforce platform.
- Design, configure, update, and maintain Salesforce forms, fields, and related functionality.
- Configure and maintain field-level security, permissions, validation rules, profiles, and other Salesforce security controls.
- Manage user profiles, roles, permissions, service accounts, and access requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, application defects, configuration problems, and user-reported issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with technical resources when development changes are required.
- Develop and execute SOQL queries to investigate data and application issues.
- Work with Salesforce developers to support technical troubleshooting and resolution of more complex issues.
- Assist with testing and validation of system changes, enhancements, configuration updates, and defect resolutions.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand reported issues, and translate business needs into Salesforce configuration changes.
- Document configuration changes, issue resolutions, system processes, and support activities.
- Provide clear and timely status reporting regarding assigned work, outstanding issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with technical resources, business analysts, project leadership, and client stakeholders.
- Independently manage assigned work and complete deliverables within established timelines.
Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have demonstrated hands-on experience administering and supporting Salesforce environments, including:
- Strong professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform administration, configuration, navigation, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, updating, and maintaining Salesforce forms, fields, and related components.
- Strong understanding of field-level security, profiles, permissions, roles, validation rules, and Salesforce security concepts.
- Experience managing Salesforce users and service accounts.
- Strong working knowledge of SOQL, including the ability to develop queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and analysis.
- Understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, and cross-object data.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and resolving application and configuration defects.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and determine when an issue requires configuration versus development changes.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to provide clear and concise status reporting.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and complete work within established timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Experience with Salesforce Workforce, human resources, case management, or similar business applications.
- Experience supporting Salesforce within a state, local, or other public-sector environment.
- Experience working alongside Salesforce APEX developers.
- Familiarity with APEX sufficient to assist with troubleshooting and communicate effectively with development resources.
- Experience working within formal production support, change management, testing, and release management processes.
Work Location
This is a hybrid position based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The selected consultant will be required to work:
2 days per week on-site at the Will Rogers Building in Oklahoma City
3 days per week remotely
Candidates must be able to consistently meet the on-site requirement throughout the engagement.
Contract Term
The initial contract term is expected to be 12 months, with an option to extend based on client needs and consultant performance.
