Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney looking to expand their litigation experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while working closely alongside experienced legal professionals. The selected candidate will assist with managing personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation and gain valuable hands-on courtroom and case management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution
- Support litigation efforts including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances as needed
- Maintain professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and internal staff
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to ensure efficient case progression
- Assist with pre-litigation matters, including negotiation and case evaluation
- Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines in a timely manner
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to learn
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and client-focused work environment
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems preferred
- Litigation, trial, or courtroom exposure is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000–$115,000 annually (based on experience)
