American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a combined inpatient/outpatient role requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS/State License certification.

Acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility
-
Level IV trauma center with 25 total staffed beds
-
Work spans inpatient and outpatient settings, including Acute Care, LTAC, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and SNF
-
Patient ratio of 1:6
-
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (0800-1700)

No weekend or on-call requirements

Uses Cerner for hospital charting and PCC for long-term care charting

Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs

Block scheduling accommodated

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

BLS certification required
-
State license required if applicable, compact license accepted

Non-compact or out-of-state license may take up to 8 weeks to obtain in Montana

Prior travel experience required

Cerner charting experience preferred
-
Experience across diverse work settings including Acute Care, LTAC, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and SNF preferred
-
Skilled in treating orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, and wound care patient populations preferred
-
Proficiency with modalities such as E-stim, TENS, Ultrasound, and traction preferred
-
Experience with adaptive/assistive devices, gait belts, walkers, and lift equipment preferred
-
Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, documentation, and development of short and long-term care plans
-
Duties involve treatment planning across orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric conditions using various modalities and equipment
-
No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation, with RTO limited to one week thereafter
-
First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
