Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment, ensuring safe and efficient project completion. This role involves working on diverse construction sites, handling different types of machinery, and supporting various phases of construction projects. Candidates with a strong mechanical background and familiarity with commercial driving are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks, water trucks, side dumps, and truck and transfers as needed for transportation of materials.
- Manage construction site activities by setting up equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site work.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required; experience with front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tankers is advantageous.
- Construction site experience required.
- Ability to work safely in a dynamic environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
