Job Description:
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human is searching for a Deputy Director of Eligibility, Policy, and Quality within our Division of Disability and Aging . The Deputy Director is responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of services within the Division, specifically in the areas of waiver eligibility and enrollment, quality initiatives for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), Medicaid waiver management and compliance, policy oversight and legislative coordination, and Special Health Care Programs.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience, if approved.
Location: This is an in-office role based out of the Nebraska State Office Building.
Examples of Work:
The Deputy Director of Eligibility, Policy, and Quality will support the Division's operations through:
Providing policy and waiver management to support the provision of services, to comply with waiver requirements, and to conform with any state and federal laws and regulations;
Managing the program operations of the Special Health Care Programs;
This job requires the successful candidate be able to:
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services, public/business administration, social/behavioral science, or closely related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience working in program oversight, policy development, and /or quality management that supports persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities or physical disabilities and the aging populations . Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
