Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial ceiling construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ceiling installation and construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations and quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the job sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate laborers.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Implement OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent, foreman, or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Experience with ceilings
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on site.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam is preferred.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and the ability to implement them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for reading schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration
