Responsibilities
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished regularly to maintain a neat and appealing store appearance
- Operate cash registers accurately during retail sales transactions, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, offering product demos when appropriate, and guiding them through their purchases
- Manage the cash drawer responsibly by performing cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits during customer interactions to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of store merchandise and retail math to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays attractively and organizing stock in designated areas
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm
- A proactive attitude towards customer service, sales upselling, and maintaining store organization
