Service Technicians deliver the primary product our company offers to the community. Our ideal candidate will be an openminded, able bodied, passionate, self driven “always willing to learn” problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention for detail. The candidate should have the ability to proactively evaluate customer needs and expectations and then work with our office administrative team to be sure they are met.
The candidate must:
- Be capable of performing repair work in a variety of environments including kitchens, offices, retail and convenience store sales floors.
- Be willing and able to perform service work outdoors as well as indoors, on rooftops, inside attic spaces, and in all types of weather.
- Be capable of keeping their respective work environments, service trucks, tools and equipment in good working order and clean condition.
- Be capable of continual growth in the use of tools, equipment and technology for both service work and service documentation that includes billing and collection of service fees, performing administrative tasks, and providing cooperative support to coworkers.
- Acknowledge this is a physically demanding job where you will be expected to be able to complete jobs on rooftops, weather extremes, small confined areas, and in high traffic areas of businesses where tensions can rise.
- Understand we constantly work on a wide variety of both new and old equipment, so the ability to receive on the job mentoring with a humble perspective, as well as mandatory self study of new or unfamiliar topics are essential character traits for all applicants.
- Acknowledge that raises are based on performance, Self improvement through training and completion of certifications within 6 months of start date.
A Service Technician at Cox Brothers runs service calls and helps make invoices for our customers for the work they do.
We have set up systems here that we feel help our techs deliver consistent, professional and speedy service to our customers. Applicants must possess the ability to learn and use multiple types of electronic devices and applications such as smart phones and computers to perform administrative responsibilities.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
