Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to develop accurate structural designs that meet project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure construction aligns with approved plans and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to coordinate project requirements and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Implement erosion control measures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations during construction activities.
- Oversee the installation process, including heavy lifting operations, climbing structures, and manual handling tasks, maintaining strict adherence to workplace safety regulations.
- Monitor construction activities to enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
- Assist in equipment repair or maintenance as needed, ensuring all tools and machinery used on-site are functioning correctly and safely.
- Support the implementation of respiratory protection protocols and other personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for workers engaged in industrial construction environments.
- Review construction plans regularly to identify potential safety hazards or design conflicts that could impact project timelines or integrity.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial construction projects with a strong understanding of heavy lifting techniques and mechanical knowledge related to structural systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards for fall protection, respiratory safety, manual handling, and climbing activities.
- Hands-on experience working with power tools, equipment repair, and the use of industrial-grade machinery in a construction setting.
- Knowledge of erosion control practices and environmental considerations relevant to large-scale construction sites.
- Prior involvement in implementing safety regulations on-site to ensure compliance with local laws and industry best practices.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a focus on safety protocols throughout all phases of construction projects.

Pay: $120,765.21 - $132,719.33 per year
