The Operations Manager position is designed to provide a high level of leadership, oversight, and assistance for the company’s field operations. The intent of the position is to ensure that the field staff have the support they need to make every area of the project successful.
The Operations Manager position will report to the President.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to align project goals and resolve issues.
- Maintain regular communication and provide updates on project status, progress, and milestones to management team.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop construction teams, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Manage project budgets, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and expectations in a proactive and professional manner.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Address any quality or safety issues promptly with the project management and safety teams to implement corrective actions and prevent reoccurrence.
- Facilitate handover meetings between estimating and project management to review new projects and ensure all aspects of are covered.
Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction related field or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in project management including planning, scheduling, and managing field staff
- Thorough working knowledge of commercial building construction
- Experience with MS Office, Sharepoint, Accubid Pro, and Procore

Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
