Belue Trucking Company, Inc. is a family-owned and operated trucking company seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. We value hard work and professionalism. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer to transport freight to customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
- Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), company policies, and traffic laws.
- Properly secure cargo and verify load information before departure.
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation using the company's Electronic Logging Device (ELD) system.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and company personnel regarding load status, delays, or other operational issues.
- Report equipment defects, accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and maintain a strong commitment to safety at all times.
- Keep equipment clean and presentable while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet DOT qualification requirements.
- Knowledge of cargo securement, vehicle inspections, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to operate electronic logging devices and other transportation technology.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the office and dispatch team.
