The Studio Programs Administrator will oversee the educational programs for José Mateo Ballet Theatre and reports to both the Executive Director and the Directoe of Education and Performance. This is a position and requires 40 hours a week and may include 32 Saturdays. Additionally, this position may also be required to staff several events .
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with overseeing and scheduling all studio programs, including children’s classes, adult classes, rehearsals, special events, and rentals
- Primary responsibility for the management of the Cambridge campuses, including:
- Responding timely to inquiries from new and existing students
- Helping to plan all school activities and other programs as needed, including Open Houses, Young Dancers Programming and Performances over the summer, Adult Summer Intensive, Nutcracker Auditions, and more
- Managing the scholarship program and collecting tuition and fees
- Scheduling and supervising pianists, teachers, work-study students, interns, and maintenance staff
- Facilitating faculty - parent interaction
- Maintaining attendance records
- Tracking metrics as assigned
- Maintain the school’s MindBody database, including but not limited to backend management, attendance records, enrollment, payments, and scheduling
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed
Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communications skills, a background in dance and dance education, enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment and excel as a member of a team. Working knowledge of Wordpress, Mindbody, Google Suite, Dreamhost, and Authorize.net desired.
