Assurit is seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Developer to support a major federal ICAM modernization initiative. This role requires a highly experienced, hands-on SailPoint developer with extensive IdentityIQ implementation experience.
The ideal candidate has a proven history of building, customizing, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in complex enterprise environments.
This position is intended for execution-oriented SailPoint developers who actively perform hands-on implementation work. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on IAM governance, enterprise architecture, project management, or strategic planning without significant IdentityIQ development experience may not be a fit.

- Lead SailPoint IdentityIQ development and customization activities
- Design, develop, and maintain BeanShell and Java-based rules
- Design and customize SailPoint workflows
- Lead application onboarding and integration efforts
- Configure and customize SailPoint connectors
- Troubleshoot complex provisioning, aggregation, and integration issues
- Support production environments and incident response activities
- Participate in architecture discussions while maintaining hands-on implementation responsibilities
- Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing
- Develop reusable onboarding standards, templates, and implementation patterns
- Support testing, deployment, and operational sustainment activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) development experience
- Experience implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in large enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise IAM programs
- Experience working across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- SailPoint IdentityIQ Development: Advanced SailPoint IdentityIQ customization, Identity lifecycle management, Identity governance administration, Access request management, Role-based access control (RBAC), Certification campaigns
- Rule Development: BeanShell development, Java-based rule development, Provisioning rules, Aggregation rules, Lifecycle rules, Correlation rules, Customization rules, Rule debugging and optimization
- Workflow Developement: Workflow design and customization, Lifecycle workflows, Provisioning workflows, Approval workflows, Access request workflows
- Application Onboarding and Integrations: End-to-end application onboarding, Connector configuration and customization, REST API integrations, SOAP API integrations, Active Directory integrations, LDAP integrations, JDBC integrations, Enterprise application integrations
- Troubleshooting and Production Support: Provisioning failures, Aggregation issues, Schema discovery issues, Entitlement aggregation issues, Connector troubleshooting, Rule execution failures, Production support and incident resolution
- SailPoint IdentityIQ certification
- Strong Java development background
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Artifactory, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, or related identity technologies
- Experience supporting federal government ICAM initiatives
- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience supporting Zero Trust modernization efforts
- Active or Interim Secret Clearance Required
