Job Summary:
The position of welder requires the welding of metal parts together per approved drawings to meet our design specifications. This position also requires the cutting, punching, and forming of sheet metal prior to being welded. This position requires the welding of mild, stainless, galvanized and aluminum metals, utilizing TIG welding process. Help with daily operations to achieve the goals and objectives of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in reading drawings and welding symbols
- Proficient welder of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Galvanized Steel, and Aluminum
- Welding pipe, flange ranging in size ½” diameter through 6” diameter.
- Cross drilling pipe
- NPT threading of pipe nipples
- Proficient in basic math in relation to sheet metal fabrication
- Running a turret lathe
- Running Horizontal Band saw
- Operate Belt Sander
- Operate Automatic Welder
- Maintain safety training.
- Able to accurately read and utilize a tape measure.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of commonly used tools and machines including Welding machine, Lathe, Mill, Sanders, Drills,
- Working knowledge of Sheet Metal cutting, forming and safety
- Detailed understanding of TIG welding is
- 1-2 years of experience in setting up and operating manual lathe and
- Working knowledge of welding carbon, stainless
- Strong interpersonal, organization and time management skills
- Able to work independently and work well with
- Good reading, writing, documentation, and analytical skills
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is a
- Fillet TIG weld preferred certification.
- At least 1–2 years of recent TIG welding experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Physical Demand(s): Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit and stand for reasonable periods of
- Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at your work for reasonable periods of time, work with small and large parts during the welding process.

Pay Transparency:
We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $26–$28 hourly, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
