Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/Food Runner/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo/ Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met during their dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are followed during food handling and delivery.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Support banquet services as needed, providing excellent guest services during events.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
