Absolute Auto Repair is expanding rapidly, and we are looking to hire an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. Absolute Auto Repair is a busy shop in Dover, FL. Our work schedule is M-F 7:30am - 5pm (no weekends). We are a family-oriented environment where we care about our team and our customers.
Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Highly effective in identifying priorities, multitasking and best shop flow practices.
- Offer a friendly no pressure atmosphere for all customers.
- Input customers contact and vehicle information, along with detailed information of the customers concerns and timeline.
- Contact and order necessary parts from distributors.
- Obtain approval for repairs by explaining technician’s diagnosis along with an estimated cost.
- Inform customer of an estimated time, they can expect to get an update.
- On completion finalize work order, collect payment and generate invoice.
Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:
Education/Licensing
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Experience/Requirements
- 2-plus years of experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred.
- Computer and point-of-sale proficiency.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Quality focus, Productivity, and Problem Solving.
- Estimating.
- Product knowledge & safety management.
- Keep clean/professional appearance.
