Duties
- Prepare a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other tools safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Assist with food production tasks including braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support overall kitchen operations
- Participate in menu planning by suggesting innovative pizza toppings and ingredients based on current trends and customer preferences
- Ensure adherence to recipe guidelines and portion control for high-volume production
- Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Skills
- Proven dietary aide experience or culinary experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Expertise in food preparation techniques such pizza making and knife skills
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity recipe adherence, and food industry standards
- Ability to handle high-volume production while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in food safety practices
- Previous restaurant or fine dining experience preferred but not required
