Associate Attorney
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Auto Subrogation Firm. This is a remote position, but the candidate must reside in Califormia. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 5 years of civil litigation experience, exposure to trial work, and strong legal research and writing skills. We are looking for someone who is not intimidated by volume and is able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Insurance industry experience is helpful, but not required.
Primary Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, and other memoranda
Make court appearances (to include mediations, mandatory settlement and case management conferences, and trials)
Take and defend depositions
Propound and respond to written discovery
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of civil procedure
Effective oral and written advocacy skills and negotiation tactics
Experience with case management software (Time Matters preferred)
Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of California required

Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
