Picture/Art Framer – Framing Assistant
A small retail Picture Framing and Photo Printing Business in the Princeton area is looking for a part time employee (15-20 hours per week):
Must be able to:
Technical
- Accurately measure & read a measuring tape in 1/16
- Use hand tools/drill, pliers, stapler, nail gun, awl
- Matte/and foam board cutting/wall cutter/glass & plexi cutting
- Finish fitting frames (wire, dust cover, bump ons)
- Packing/prepping and shipping frame orders
- Generate UPS labels
- Careful handling of artwork and photographs
- Design Skills plus mastery of color concepts
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs
- Ability to multi-task
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of art mediums
Organization
· Maintaining material inventory
· Organizing the frame samples
· Checking in framing materials as they arrive
· Maintain tracking of completed custom frame work
· Basic clean up of maintenance work areas
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Meet and Greet clients who are picking up work and checking them out
· General computer skills
· Answer phones, and take messages

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Picture Framing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 5 years (Preferred)
