Local CDL-A Truck Driver - Home daily
We are hiring CDL-A drivers with a minimum of 3 months of solo driving experience (training time not included) for a local account that offers daily home time, competitive weekly pay, and consistent year-round freight
Pay & Compensation
- Weekly pay: $1,500–$1,700/week
- Annual equivalent: $78,000–$88,000/year
- CPM: 60¢-70¢ (increases by 1 CPM each year for up to 10 years)
- Miles: 2,000–2,400 per week
Home Time
- Home every day after your shift
Orientation
- One day long
- Covers safety procedures, equipment familiarization, drug screening, and skills assessment
- Orientation pay: $300 paid with your first paycheck
- Transportation and hotel accommodations provided
Freight & Routes
- This account features 100% no-touch dry general commodity freight operating throughout California, Reno, NV, Las Vegas, NV, and Arizona. Established freight lanes, consistent year-round freight volumes, and steady miles provide dependable work throughout the year.
Equipment
- 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
- Automatic transmission only - manual restriction accepted
- Assigned truck

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- 3+ month of verifiable Tractor & Trailer experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must reside within 50 miles of Colton, CA
- Basic load securement knowledge
- No major moving violations in the last 12 months
- MVR checked for last 3 years
- Background check for last 10 years
- Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on cross-country lanes
- Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
- Deliver 100% no-touch dry freight safely and on schedule
- Operate automatic tractors with 48–53 foot trailers
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
