Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Forklift Operator maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of task. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across multiple areas of the facility
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, reporting larger issues promptly to the appropriate team
- Support custodial operations by stocking supplies, managing inventory of cleaning materials, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning standards are consistently upheld in both commercial and residential settings
- Lift and carry loads
Experience
- Forklift Certified experience in commercial or a 3PL environments is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers is advantageous
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Previous porter or facilities support experience is beneficial
