Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong mechanical background, programming knowledge, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be confident in CNC machining processes and committed to producing high-quality work while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines.
- Interpret blueprints, NX drawings, SolidWorks schematics, and technical documents to determine machining operations.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure product accuracy.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Program using Work NC for automated machining processes.
- Operate and program OKKs and Hurcos with Fanuc controller.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to confirm adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience (required).
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup and operation.
- Strong proficiency in precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Knowledge of EDM techniques is a plus.
- Solid mechanical understanding of complex machinery.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings.
- Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for machining calculations.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to perceive and analyze details of parts using close, distance, and peripheral vision.
