A Clinical and Leadership Opportunity in Women’s Health
Pivot Pelvic Health Physical Therapy is seeking a physical therapist who wants to provide exceptional pelvic health care while taking an active role in the growth and direction of a small private practice.
This position combines hands-on patient care with clinic leadership. You’ll maintain a clinical caseload while working closely with the practice owner to strengthen operations, support future team members, and help guide the clinic’s continued growth.
We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates and would be happy to discuss a schedule that supports the responsibilities of the position while fitting the right person’s goals.
About Our Practice
Pivot is a privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice focused exclusively on women’s health. We work with women experiencing pregnancy and postpartum concerns, pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, difficulty returning to exercise, and related orthopedic conditions.
Our treatment model is grounded in whole-body, orthopedic care. Patients are seen individually for 60-minute appointments in private treatment rooms, giving clinicians the time to fully assess each person, provide individualized treatment, and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.
The Clinical Side of the Role
As a treating physical therapist, you will:
- Evaluate and treat women with pelvic health and related orthopedic concerns
- Use a whole-body approach to identify factors contributing to pain, movement limitations, and dysfunction
- Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient’s presentation, goals, and lifestyle
- Incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, movement retraining, and patient education
- Help patients return to exercise, daily activities, and the things that matter most to them
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate with referring providers and other members of a patient’s healthcare team when appropriate
The Leadership Side of the Role
As Clinical Director, you will help:
- Oversee and improve the clinic’s day-to-day operations
- Develop systems and workflows that support an excellent experience for both patients and staff
- Identify challenges, recommend solutions, and help implement changes
- Collaborate with the practice owner on clinic priorities, future growth, and long-term planning
- Support the hiring, onboarding, and mentorship of new team members
- Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-centered culture as the practice expands

Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- Current South Carolina physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Pelvic health training or experience is preferred. However, physical therapists with a strong orthopedic background, a genuine interest in women’s health, and a desire to pursue additional training are also encouraged to apply.
