Maintenance Technician - Day Shift
A contract manufacturing company in Suwanee, GA is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician. This is a contract to hire opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of experience.
Pay Rate of the Maintenance Technician:
$24-25/hr
Shift of the Maintenance Technician:
Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC and NC-controlled equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and support equipment.
- Record maintenance activities and repairs in the electronic maintenance system.
- Use measuring tools and instruments to verify equipment performance and tolerances.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts.
- Utilize machine shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses as needed.
- Assist with facility maintenance, including HVAC, compressors, doors, pallet jacks, and battery-powered equipment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC and NC-driven equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and maintenance tools.
- Experience operating forklifts, lifts, or similar equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
