We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your ability to load and unload cargo, will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety standards on the road.
- Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across various trailer types (refrigerated, flatbed, tanker).
- Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer handling techniques.
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures for different cargo types and equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks.
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Experience operating specialized trucks like roll-off or dump trucks is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated. Join us in delivering excellence on every route!
