We're seeking a Full-Time & PRN/Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech-language pathology services to our residents. The ideal Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) candidate will be licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and possess a strong background in speech therapy, patient assessment, and treatment planning. As a key member of our therapy team, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of residents' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified areas of need
Provide speech-language pathology services, including individual and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and meaningful outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress
Participate in team meetings and staff development activities to stay current with best practices
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution
Missouri state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Minimum 1 year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in a long-term care setting
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
