Job Summary

Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and low-voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise installation aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify proper operation
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate framing carpentry tasks necessary for fixture mounting or fan installation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including high voltage and low voltage electrical standards
- Conduct routine inspections of installed systems to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections for project documentation and quality assurance
Skills
- Quick learner and fast paced individual.
- Proficient with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers; power tools including drills and saws; testing instruments like ohmmeters and ammeters
- Able to work effectively in a residential environment being polite with customers while concentrating on the job at hand.
- Abiding by electrical codes and the safety protocol.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings,
- Good driver and driving record as you will be driving a company van.
Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
