Symphony of Care is a high-end, concierge-style private pay home care agency in Omaha, Nebraska, dedicated exclusively to individuals living with dementia and memory loss. We go far beyond task-based caregiving — we build personalized relationships with every client, meeting them where they are in their journey.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator with a healthcare background and a passion for senior wellness. This is not a generic marketing role. You'll create content that educates, uplifts, and builds trust with families navigating one of the most difficult journeys of their lives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and schedule 3–5 social media posts per week (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Write educational content on dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and memory care
- Highlight our engagement-focused, person-centered approach to care
- Monitor and respond to community comments with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with our care team to ensure content reflects real caregiving experience
- Stay current on dementia research, caregiver resources, and senior wellness trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in healthcare, gerontology, social work, nursing, or a related field — strongly preferred
- Experience working with or writing about older adults, memory care, or dementia
- Portfolio of social media content with a warm, professional, human voice
- Strong writing skills — informative and relatable in the same post
- Familiarity with HIPAA and client privacy standards
- Self-directed, organized, and reliable with posting schedules
- Omaha-area connection a plus; remote candidates considered
COMPENSATION
Competitive. Open to hourly, monthly retainer, or project-based arrangements.
