Job Position: Client Associate

A boutique firm providing multigenerational private wealth management and planning services. These include providing affluent and ultra high-net worth clients with assistance in planning for college expenses, retirement, the tax-efficient transfer of wealth, income generation, risk avoidance and building wealth.
We are seeking a Client Associate (“CA”) to support our growing organization. The CA will interact with and service the needs of our clients with the aim of making that experience feel exceptional. The CA will also deliver both administrative and operational support to the financial advisory team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Financial Advisors (“FAs”) with the collection, creation and distribution of investment information.
- Scheduling meetings, creating reminders, gathering and inputting data.
- Onboarding new clients, including the collection of required documentation and client information and regularly communicating with those clients throughout the process.
- Ensuring that key client information and documentation are up-to-date.
- Answering incoming calls.
- Responding to client and/or administrative issues and demands via phone or written correspondence as appropriate, researching answers as needed.
- Engaging in industry training and education programs to maintain current status on policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational skills a must; an ability to manage a variety of tasks and prioritize individual workload responsibilities.
- An ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements as well as utilize good judgment in the preparation, handling and distribution of confidential information.
- An ability to clearly, concisely and pleasantly convey messages to others in person, by phone or via written correspondence. This includes grammatical proficiency.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products; proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- Previous banking and/or wealth management experience is preferred.
- A desire to positively impact the lives of the practice’s clientele and the practice itself.
Opportunities for Advancement:
Though not mandatory for this position, the firm believes in fostering an environment of professional development. CA’s who decide to obtain a Series 7 and/or 66 Securities License will be financially rewarded for building on their skillset.
