Position: Regional Director of Admissions
Location: Must be able to commute to Queens, Bronx, Nassau, and Westchester Counties
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $185,000 – $200,000
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Admissions to lead strategic growth initiatives across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This leadership role is responsible for driving census growth, strengthening referral networks, and optimizing payer mix while partnering closely with clinical and operational teams.
Oversee execution of admissions processes and local facility management
Monitor referral response times and ensure timely follow-up
Assist in closing complex or high-priority admissions
Coordinate patient movement between sister facilities to optimize census
Track and analyze census trends and payer mix performance
Train, mentor, and hold admissions teams accountable for results
Monitor lost referrals and identify opportunities for improvement
Drive accountability across all facilities for admissions performance
Develop and implement regional business development strategies to increase census and improve payer mix
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community partners
Identify and secure new referral sources and strategic partnerships
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to guide decision-making
Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
Support and oversee facility-level marketing and admissions initiatives
Track and report weekly and monthly metrics, including census, conversion ratios, and referral activity
Participate in care coordination meetings, hospital rounds, and networking events
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations related to admissions and marketing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, admissions, or healthcare marketing
Required: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
Proven track record of increasing census and building strong referral pipelines
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, discharge planning, and payer sources
Ability to travel regularly throughout Queens, Bronx, Nassau, and Westchester Counties
