Looking for a part-time Registered Nurse for our pain management clinic in Draper. Hours vary but days will be Monday-Thursday.
Job duties include:
- Prepare pre and post operative areas, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained. keep an accurate record of all drugs on hand. Order and maintain an accurate inventory.
- Prepare patients for, and assist with, procedures and treatments.
- Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status throughout treatment and recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety.
- Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times.
- Perform sedation on clients with ease and knowledge
- Practice patient teaching/training for patients and families.
- Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Handle and be knowledgeable of all medical equipment utilized in the care of the patient.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Comfortable placing several IV's daily
Candidates with 2+ years of nursing experience are preferred. Looking for someone with a great attitude and work ethic.
