Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Occupational Therapist, you will provide a continuum of services for patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders, utilizing the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being.
Every day you will deliver specialized care including mobility training, strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to maximize patient function and recovery.
To be successful in this role, you will possess expertise in occupational therapy interventions for diverse physical disorders, strong assessment and treatment planning skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Evaluates patients, presenting or referred to occupational therapy, by completing initial evaluation within time standards per department protocol.
- Applies appropriate diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
- Evaluates assigned patients and develops treatment plans including specific goals and activities, reassessing and modifying plans as necessary based on patient's current level of function and makes appropriate disposition recommendations.
- Utilizes a variety of sensorimotor, neuromuscular reeducation, recreational, and social activities to foster patients' achievement of maximum independence in activities of daily living.
- Applies technical knowledge in rehabilitative activities tailored to patients' needs including, but not limited to: ADL training, home safety assessment and education, use of compensatory techniques and equipment, neuromuscular and sensory reeducation, gross and fine motor coordination, evaluation and training, energy conservation, functional mobility, positioning, splinting and hand therapy techniques.
- Performs a variety of best practice and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient.
We are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus, in addition to up to $8,000 in relocation assistance, to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job Requirements
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

Current state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within three (3) months as required by the state of practice
Preferred
Master's Degree

Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit

Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR)

Pay Range
$40.06 - $64.15 /hour
