· Weekly Gross Pay: $2800/week (40 hours)
· Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM |
· Duration:13-week contract
· On-call requirement: 1–2 nights per week and 1–2 weekends per month
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Echo Sonographer to join a leading healthcare facility in Sioux City, Iowa. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality echocardiograms while working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional patient care. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality adult echocardiograms
- Complete approximately 7–8 echo scans per day
- Accurately acquire and document diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety, and quality standards
- Float to other local campuses within the same specialty when required
- Participating in on-call rotation as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular/Echo Sonographer experience
- At least one complete travel assignment
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Active Iowa License
- RDCS certification required (RCS accepted)
- RVT certification required
- ARDMS or CCI certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
