$22–$26/hour, based on experience
A busy, growing specialty practice at the intersection of hearing healthcare, technology, music and professional audio is seeking a professional, personable and highly organized Patient Care / Front Desk Coordinator.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, pays attention to details and follows through. This is an important role in a small, entrepreneurial practice where no two days are exactly alike and there is opportunity to learn, grow and take on greater responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries and schedule appointments
- Communicate with prospective patients and help convert appropriate inquiries into appointments
- Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up and recall
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate benefit information after training
- Coordinate patient orders, repairs, shipments and deliveries
- Communicate with manufacturers, vendors and professional partners
- Maintain office supplies, inventory and organized records
- Perform scanning, data entry and general administrative responsibilities
- Track outstanding tasks and follow through to completion
- Assist with hearing-related technology, product demonstrations and basic troubleshooting after training
- Pitch in wherever needed to help the practice run smoothly

- Interested in growing with a small, entrepreneurial practice
Experience in patient care, customer service, hospitality, administration or other people-facing roles is a plus. Strong computer skills are important. An interest in music, audio or technology is also a plus.
Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Schedule & Opportunity
This position may be part-time or full-time, depending upon the candidate. Specific hours can be discussed based upon availability and practice needs.
