Position Description: The Engineering Administrator provides specialized administrative services to our Project Managers and engineering teams for all construction project phases.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of construction administration support, a firm grasp of construction industry best practices, and a track record of optimizing processes.
Compensation: The pay rate for the Engineering Administrator generally ranges between $65,000 and $72,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to pay transparency laws. Actual pay rates will be based on various factors, including education level, work experience, and candidate qualifications.

Job Description: An Engineering Administer provides administrative and project support for multiple complex design and construction projects, ensuring accurate document tracking from initiation to close-out, while coordinating office tasks and maintaining compliance with client and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and track documents from project initiation through project close-out for multiple projects including large, complex, design and construction projects.
- Provide administrative support such as word processing, travel arrangements, expense report entry, meeting planning, calendaring, and project task coordination.
- Produce proposals, engineering reports and other related documents in accordance with Style Guide standards and/or to client requirements.
- Assist large construction project teams with the organization and processing of RFIs, Submittals, and other project control documents.
- Assist Office Manager, Project Managers and Staff Engineers as needed. Provide assistance with cataloging project documents for the LA office.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of office/administrative experience.
- Exposure to a construction/engineering services firm including 3+ years managing document control and construction documents.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF creation and editing Software.
- Resourceful and flexible with strong follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize competing work and deadlines while producing accurate work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain strong business partner relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including proofreading.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
Experience working with the full MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Construction Administrative Software.
