Role
This role is responsible for assisting members and potential members with their financial needs, selling services and recommending new products to improve our members’ financial well-being.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Sell credit union services and make qualified referrals while building superior account relationships

Receives and processes member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells money orders to members’ transfers amounts from member accounts as directed

Accurately process member transactions

Maintains accurate member account information on computer system and prepares required reports for management

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Exhibits a positive attitude toward Credit Union initiatives and mission statement, supporting member acquisition and retention.

Ability to use office technology such as a computer, internet, email, and other office related software

Ability to work in an office environment for at least 8 hours per day

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Actively cross-sell products and services to members to achieve or exceed all established individual and branch sales goals

Possess thorough knowledge of credit union products and ensure compliance with credit union’s policies, procedures, bylaws, and appropriate regulations
Knowledge & Skills
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretions, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow guidelines.

Must demonstrate the ability to follow the organization's confidentiality and security rules.
