Job Summary

Duties
- Deliver individualized history lessons that cater to each student’s unique learning style and needs, ensuring comprehension and retention
- Develop comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and student goals, incorporating modern learning technology and e-learning platforms
- Adapt teaching strategies dynamically to accommodate students with disabilities or special education requirements, promoting inclusive classroom experiences
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
- Incorporate foreign language instruction such as Mandarin, French, Japanese, or English into lessons when applicable to broaden students’ cultural understanding
- Employ innovative instructional tools and digital resources to enhance literacy education and writing skills within history lessons
- Track student progress meticulously through assessments, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching history or related social sciences at various educational levels
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learner needs
- Experience working with students with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using learning technology, e-learning platforms, and digital tools for instruction
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin, French, or Japanese are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual student requirements and learning styles
- Prior classroom management experience with children or early childhood education is preferred
- Background in literacy education, writing skills development, and working with students with different learning abilities
