Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging recreational gymnastics sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for basic gymnastics movements, emphasizing safety and proper form.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Monitor participants closely to ensure safety standards are maintained during all activities.
- Manage behavior effectively through clear communication and behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and safety updates.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety protocols in accordance with health club standards and first aid procedures.
- Assist with organizing special events or competitions to promote community engagement and enthusiasm for gymnastics.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated sports coaching experience, particularly in gymnastics or related physical activities such as climbing, martial arts (e.g., Karate), basketball, soccer, or swimming.
- Lifeguard experience or certification is a plus, including AED operation and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Background in teaching physical education or sports-specific training instruction enhances your ability to deliver quality coaching sessions.
- Experience managing behavior in group settings to create a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Knowledge of health club operations or gym experience is advantageous for understanding facility safety standards.

Pay: $7.25 - $20.00 per hour
