Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. This role involves hands-on materials handling, order fulfillment, and operating various warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a strong commitment to safety standards. This position offers opportunities for growth within warehouse management and operations.
Responsibilities
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have valid Driver's License and good DMV standing
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
- Product Inspection
- Receiving / Sorting/Stocking/Distributing
- Computer entry
- Order pulling/picking
- Shipping / Packaging
- Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of product.
- Communicates with some customers
- Breakdown pallets
- Lifting items
- Inventory control
- General housekeeping of warehouse
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or other management
- Pallet Jack & forklift
Experience
- Prior warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols
- Previous roles involving order picker tasks or heavy lifting are beneficial
This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments that demand attention to detail.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
