Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cannabis Cultivator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Manage daily plant care routines including watering, pruning, trimming, and harvesting to promote healthy growth and maximize yield.
- Oversee irrigation management, ensuring systems are properly installed, maintained, and adjusted for optimal water delivery.
- Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to prevent and control pests and diseases while minimizing chemical use.
- Maintain accurate records of crop production activities, including planting schedules, nutrient applications, pest treatments, and harvest timelines.
- Monitor environmental conditions within greenhouses or outdoor grow areas using agricultural environmental control systems to ensure ideal temperature, humidity, light levels, and airflow.
- Follow strict SOPs related to crop handling, pest control, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead horticultural teams by providing guidance on plant identification, garden trimming, landscaping, and the use of hand tools for precise cultivation tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in greenhouse cultivation and outdoor gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and irrigation management techniques tailored for cannabis or similar crops.
- Familiarity with agricultural environmental control systems to regulate climate conditions effectively.
- Hands-on experience with crop pest management and plant pest control methods.
- Ability to interpret plant identification signs and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to nutrient mixing or area assessments.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks such as garden trimming or landscaping in various outdoor settings.
- Strong teamwork skills with experience managing horticultural teams in fast-paced environments.
