Quality Technician – 1st Shift

R&L Spring is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support production through inspection, testing, and quality documentation. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who enjoys hands-on inspection and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
1st Shift | Monday – Friday: 6 am to 2:30 pm or 7 am to 3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:

Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections

Conduct component layouts and maintain inspection documentation

Utilize SPC charting and sampling plans

Set up and operate inspection/testing equipment

Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions

Support internal audits and PPAP documentation

Create and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and inspection reports

Ensure compliance with non-conforming material procedures
-
Review finished product to verify conformance to specifications
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Prior manufacturing quality/inspection experience preferred

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T

Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment

Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis preferred

Familiarity with IATF 16949 / AIAG Core Tools preferred
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
