Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, processing cash transactions, and handling payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless guest service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or hospitality environments; previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event shifts.
