Job Requirements
- Run either Income tax or audit and other assurance engagements from start to finish including planning and managing engagements.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to identify key points of interest and adjust engagement functions as necessary.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing, distribution and construction industries, a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to provide clients with superior service along with the ability to interact professionally with clients and all staff levels.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Proficient with ProSystem suite; including Tax, Document, Engagement, Practice Management, Scan, and Fixed Assets.
- Limited preparation of S-corporation, C-corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA license or candidate for CPA exam is highly desirable.
- 5 to 10 years Public Accounting experience.
- Potential for future advancement in the firm.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
- Virtually no travel required.
