Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, with professionalism and flair, maintaining proper service etiquette
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments securely
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Assist with food handling, beverage preparation, and basic food industry procedures to support overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training prior to employment
- Experience in dining environments or high-volume restaurants is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently and enhance guest satisfaction
